In-class group project focused on creating a model for either a binomial or multinomial response. Our group’s objective was to produce a prediction for socioeconomic score (ses) given the subjects’ test scores from this dataset.
Given the ordinal nature of the response variable, we chose a cumulative logit model as opposed to a baseline category logit model.
